About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, safety‑focused Britten-Norman BN‑2 Islander pilot to join our team based out of Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE). This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to manage and operate a single-aircraft Part 91 flight department, ensuring high standards of professionalism, reliability, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Serve as Pilot in Command of a BN‑2 Islander on all operations.
Oversee all aspects of aircraft scheduling, operation, and readiness.
Manage aircraft maintenance coordination, recordkeeping, and vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with all applicable Part 91 regulations and safety standards.
Perform regular flights between the U.S. and the Bahamas, including specialty island operations.
Provide exceptional service while maintaining a professional and customer-focused demeanor.

Qualifications

Required:

High-time multi-engine pilot.
Strong knowledge of Part 91 operations.
Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
Ability to operate independently in a small flight department environment.

Preferred:

Britten-Norman BN‑2 Islander flight experience.
A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) License.
Experience operating into Cat Cay Island.
Familiarity with U.S. and Bahamian Customs procedures.
Oceanic and island‑destination flying experience.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary: $70,000–$100,000, depending on experience
