Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in aircraft maintenance, with the ability to work on various components and systems in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the capability to perform complex repairs and maintenance tasks on aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards.
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of aircraft systems including avionics, electrical, and mechanical components.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and ammeters to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to execute repairs accurately.
- Engage in fabrication tasks including sheet metal work and welding as required
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition, utilizing hand tools and power tools safely.
Requirements
- Proven experience in aircraft maintenance or a related field; military experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Proficiency in electrical systems.
- Ability to lift heavy components as part of the assembly or repair process.
