We are seeking a licensed Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. The candidate will have knowledge and experience in General Aviation aircraft maintenance and repair, ensuring the safety and airworthiness of our aircraft fleet. To be considered for this position, you MUST have at least 1 year of General Aviation maintenance within the last 5 years. If you do not have this requirement, you will NOT be considered
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on aircraft components and systems
- Inspect aircraft structures, engines, and avionics systems for defects and troubleshoot as needed
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Conduct tests with specialized equipment such as calipers, Ohmmeters, and Avionics test sets
- Assemble and disassemble aircraft components as required
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Ability to work independently
-Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems
-Perform 100hr and Progressive Inspections on General Aviation aircraft
- Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues to prevent future occurrences
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Aviation Aircraft Mechanic in the aviation industry
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
-Recent experience working on General Aviation aircraft
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and engines
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment to maintain and repair aircraft
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively
