Responsibilities:
The Spotter Pilot will be responsible for safely and efficiently performing the specific duties below:
- Identify schools of fish and type of fish
- Describe schools of fish and location to captains and mates
- Set boats onto fish in correct order
- Account for the affects of wind and tide when setting boats
- Read the weather and respond accordingly
- Complete all tasks safely
- Report all hazards, accidents, injuries, or environmental excursions to your supervisor or a member of the management team immediately
- Follow all terms and conditions of the Spotters Agreement
- All other duties as assigned
Minimum requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Commercial Pilots Certificate
- FAA 2nd class physical
- Excellent work ethic
- Ability to work overtime, weekends and rotating shifts
