Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of piston aircraft airframes, engines, and systems in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and industry standards.
- Perform repairs, replacements, and overhauls on aircraft components utilizing hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments .
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, CAD drawings, and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues effectively.
- Utilize manufacturing processes including sheet metal fabrication, welding, soldering, and equipment repair to restore aircraft to optimal condition.
- Apply root cause analysis techniques to identify underlying issues affecting aircraft performance or safety.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with standards for quality management systems.
- Assist with assembly and disassembly of aircraft components during routine maintenance or major repairs while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Support avionics upgrades or repairs by working with electrical systems and integrating new equipment per schematics and technical specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and industry best practices for aviation maintenance in a fast-paced environment that demands precision and attention to detail.
Requirements
- FAA A&P Certificate (required)
- Strong piston aircraft experience
- Ability to work independently and solve problems
- Attention to detail and pride in quality work
- IA is a plus but not required
Pay: $25.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:

License/Certification:
