Interested in becoming an aircraft mechanic, but haven't completed a certification program? Apprenticeship may be just the place for you! We are offering a part time position to a person eager to learn in the aircraft maintenance industry! This position has the potential to grow to full time with benefits. An "in-progress" A&P license is a plus.
- Ability to access systems and parts and to move heavy parts from one place to another
- Knowledge of the general parts and systems found in piston aircraft
- Familiarity with commonly used mechanical tools as a foundation to build specialty tool training
- Reading comprehension skills to be able to learn how to read repair manuals and technical diagrams.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attentiveness to detail to ensure that work gets performed correctly
- Observation skills to spot defects and damage
- Mathematics and computer skills to utilize equipment
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
