Interior Design Assistant Location: Sandpoint, ID

Aspen & Stone is a full-service interior design studio and curated storefront based in Sandpoint, Idaho. We specialize in creating spaces that are personal, polished, and deeply rooted in the lives our clients want to live. We’re currently seeking a skilled and motivated Interior Design Assistant to support our growing team.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist principal designers in developing concepts, mood boards, and presentation materials
- Draft floor plans, elevations, and 3D models using Chief Architect
- Source materials, finishes, and furnishings aligned with project goals and budgets
- Prepare material boards and support color palette development using principles of color theory
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure design intent is executed
- Support project management tasks including scheduling, documentation, and procurement
- Participate in site visits, installations, and walkthroughs to monitor progress and quality
- Maintain organized records of samples, specifications, and project files
- Contribute to the overall client experience with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail
What We’re Looking For:
- Part-time availability with potential to grow into a full-time role
- Degree or certificate in Interior Design or a related field
- 1–3 years of relevant design experience preferred
- Proficiency in Chief Architect, Canva, and Microsoft Office are a must
- Strong drafting and rendering skills
- Knowledge of design principles, space planning, lighting, and materials
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with grace and precision
- Familiarity with construction processes and documentation
