Overview
Edko, LLC is seeking UAV/Drone Pilots. A background in forestry, arboriculture, experience with UAVs or a related field is beneficial but not required. Pilots will perform various herbicide applications along rights-of-way and roadsides using both aerial and ground (non-drone) techniques. Leadership skills are a must as you will be responsible for leading a small team in operations.
Requirements
- • Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in inclement weather
- Ability to interpret and follow maps
- Ability to use a laptop, radio communications and mobile apps
- A valid Driver License with a clean driving record is required
- The ability to work independently for long hours and out of town with extended overnight travel
- Vegetation management experience, tree knowledge and ID skills or drone experience a plus
- A candidate with a Part 107 license is preferred
- ALL PILOTS MUST BE WILLING AND ABLE TO PERFORM ALL TASKS WE PROVIDE SERVICES FOR, which are not limited to but include the following: Aerial Applications with drones, TGR applications, Basal and Foliar herbicide ground applications, Planning, and Auditing.
