Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Cutting Table Operator to join our production team. This role requires precision, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for preparing fabric according to patterns and specifications using CAD software and traditional cutting tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CAD software to interpret and apply pattern layouts for cutting fabric
- Routinely lift and handle large fabric rolls (30–50 lbs)
- Use basic math skills to accurately measure and cut fabric according to patterns
- Stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day)
- Navigate a flight of stairs multiple times daily
- Maintain an organized and efficient workspace
- Exhibit attention to detail to minimize fabric waste and ensure quality
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Collaborate effectively with team members across departments
Qualifications:
- Experience using CAD software in a manufacturing or production setting
- Strong mathematical and measurement skills
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy materials routinely
- Self-motivated and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and meet production deadlines
- Experience in a textile or garment production environment is a plus
