Taughannock Aviation is seeking an A&P Mechanic for within our aircraft maintenance organization. We are a FAA certified 14CFR 145 Repair Station with both airframe and avionics capabilities.
- An A&P Certificate which is in good standing with the FAA is required.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working mid-size jet aircraft, Hawker 800/800XP experience preferred.
- Must pass a drug screen and be enrolled in random drug and alcohol program.
- Passing of the Ithaca Airport Security requirements allowing you access to all areas of the airport is a prerequisite for employment.
- The ability to navigate and understand basic wiring prints is desired.
- Having a basic background in Avionics ‘theory of operation’ is also a desired attribute.
- Should have basic computer skills using Microsoft Windows & Excel.
- Pay would be commensurate with current knowledge and abilities relating to aircraft.
