Interior Designer (Temporary, Part-Time)
Location: Roanoke, VAPay: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday

Design with Purpose
Join an established leader in senior living management and play a key role in creating beautiful, functional, and resident-centered environments across Virginia. From large-scale renovations to ongoing design needs, this position supports the aesthetic, comfort, and functionality of our independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities.
You will collaborate closely with our Executive Director of Interior Design, an NCIDQ- and IIDA-certified professional, gaining exposure to a wide range of renovation scopes and design strategies while contributing meaningfully to resident well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage interior design projects from concept through completion, including budgets and timelines
- Oversee vendor relationships and coordinate purchasing and installations
- Collaborate with onsite community teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Partner with the Executive Director of Interior Design on projects of varying scale and complexity
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design preferred; or associate degree with related experience will also be considered.
- 3–5 years of relevant interior design experience (required)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proven project management experience
- Ability to start as soon as possible
