Sales & Account Coordinator – Future Sales Leadership Track
Location: Chugiak, AK (In-Office)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $20.00 – $24.00 / hour
The Opportunity: Grow Into a Leadership Role
At Alaska Water, we are currently experiencing explosive growth. We are more than a local bottler; we are a multi-national company with the only PET/rPET bottle manufacturing facility in the state, capable of producing over 100 million units per year.
We aren't just looking for an administrator - we are looking for a future leader. We need someone to master our operational "engine" today so they can lead our Alaska Sales Division tomorrow. ---
The Industry: Consumer Packaging Space
This is a chance to break into the Consumer Packaging Space, a high-stakes, global industry. You will build a professional network with contacts at some of the world’s (and Alaska's) largest retail and logistics giants (Walmart, Costco, Kroger/Fred Meyer, Three Bears, US Foods, Sysco, Amazon). You’ll learn how a product goes from a raw Alaskan resource to a retail shelf across the country.
The Role: Your First Chapter
Before you lead the division, you must understand how it breathes. As our Sales & Account Coordinator, you are the "Air Traffic Controller" for our daily operations. You ensure that every digital order translates into a physical delivery.
Your focus will be:
- The Liaison: Bridging the gap between our Sales, Accounting, Manufacturing, and Delivery teams.
- The Gatekeeper: Managing the 8–4 phone tree and sales inbox—serving as the professional face of our Chugiak office.
- Order Flow (We Will Train You): Learning the technical side of SPS Commerce (EDI) and Odoo (ERP) to ensure seamless billing and accurate digital transmissions.
- Logistics Sync: Coordinating the daily puzzle of deliveries and pickups between our warehouse and our customers.
Who You Are (Attitude Over Resume)
The Alaska job market is unique, and we value grit and reliability over a long list of software certifications.
- Veterans & Service Members: We highly value the "mission-first" mentality and the organizational discipline you bring from your service.
- Young Professionals: If you are hungry to start a career and want to be mentored by senior leadership, this is your foot in the door.
- The "Reliable One": You’re the person who is always five minutes early, catches the detail others miss, and takes pride in a job done right.
- Willing to Learn: If you have a great attitude and a professional presence, we will provide all the system training you need.
Why Join Us?
While our senior team expands the business globally, you will be the one maintaining the business here at home. You will be an essential part of a team that is doubling production and setting the standard for sustainable Alaskan manufacturing.
If you have the discipline to master the details today so you can run the division tomorrow, we want to hear from you.
Apply today to start your path toward Sales Leadership in the consumer packaging space.
