Job Summary
No Limits Aviation is interested in hiring a full time A&P/IA mechanic or mechanic assistant who is looking to work towards earning their certification. You will work alongside our other mechanics to perform 100 hrs, annuals, and routine maintenance on our flight school aircraft and customer planes. Wages will be determined upon experience and performance.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft systems and components.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Utilize tools such as calipers and coordinate measuring machines for precise measurements.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during maintenance tasks.
- Execute soldering and welding procedures to repair aircraft parts.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and engineers to ensure optimal aircraft performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in the hangar.
Skills
- Certified A&P/IA or willing to work towards the certifications
- Strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) related to aircraft maintenance.
- Experience with equipment repair and maintenance practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective teamwork.
