Job Description
As a Lead Dispatcher at Legends Limousine Worldwide, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations of our transportation services. This includes assigning drivers to pick up and drop off clients, monitoring vehicle locations, and communicating with both clients and drivers to ensure on-time arrivals and departures. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling any issues that arise during transportation, such as vehicle malfunctions, traffic delays, or customer complaints.
Responsibilities:
- Assign drivers to pick up and drop off clients, based on location and availability.
- Monitor vehicle locations and track progress in real-time.
- Communicate with drivers and clients to ensure on-time arrivals and departures.
- Handle any issues that arise during transportation, such as vehicle malfunctions or traffic delays
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatching activity and customer interactions.
- Distribute reservations in a fair manner while prioritizing the company’s chauffeurs.
- Check all pending reservations & ensure that all dispatch times are correct, particularly out-of-town pickups.
- Ensure that reservations with VIP clientele or special instructions, needs & requirements are taken care of
- Check the arrival times of all flights & coordinates with designated chauffeurs.
- Monitor the “assigned” screen in anticipation of new jobs being entered.
- Debrief with the Lead Dispatcher to be aware of any situation that may affect the current shift.
- Review the dispatch screen when starting the current shift to be aware of events & chauffeur locations.
- Monitor chauffeur ACK & ETA and confirm approval by passengers.
- Contact chauffeurs if the dispatched reservation is not accepted within 5 minutes.
- Assign Sales Associates to call passengers when there is a delay regarding their scheduled reservation.
- Create incident reports for any problems, including bailouts, tire flats, accidents, & customer complaints.
- Provides pleasant, personalized customer service of the highest level & acts as a proud ambassador of the company
- Answers telephone calls and responds to e-mails in a courteous & professional manner
- Provides customers with service information, including fleet vehicle selection, rates, & accurate price quotes
- Advises clients on suitable transportation options & solicits additional trip reservations via inbound/outbound calls
- Enters information regarding all new reservations into JLimo database & uses Zoho Desk to manage client relationships
- Delivers confirmation e-mails to clients & re-confirms future reservations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar dispatching role
- Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with GPS and dispatching software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
Compensation: Starting $20 - $25 per hour (starting $41,600 - $52,000 base salary dependent on experience)

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
