Job Description: We execute 14 CFR Part 135, Part 91 and Public Aircraft Operations, flying single pilot, from low altitude to the FLs, occasionally at night, in support of Colorado and USFS Fire missions and traditional charter ops. Normal missions are detecting and mapping wildland fires, with additional missions include search and rescue assistance, natural disaster surveys, passenger transport, and infrequent law enforcement support. During the fire season, it is common to stage away from home base, from overnight to several days, with little/no prior notice. This job is fun, challenging, meaningful, and not for everyone.
