The opportunity to fly the King Air 200 - renowned for its reliability, pilot-friendly workload, IS&S ThrustSense Autothrottle, touchscreen avionics, and roomy, comfortable cabin.
What you’ll be doing:
Operating the King Air 200 as a single-pilot in air ambulance operations.
Maintaining readiness in the Durango, CO (DRO) facility for critical-care flights averaging 800 miles throughout the Front Range and surrounding states.
Performing thorough pre-flight inspections, ensuring aircraft airworthiness, and complying with FAA and company regulations.
Supervising the safe loading of patients, medical crew, equipment, and baggage, ensuring weight and balance standards are met.
Coordinating with ground crews and medical teams to ensure efficient communication and mission success.
Upholding FAA regulations, Flight for Life® procedures, company flight operations manuals, and contributing to Mayo Aviation’s Safety Management System.
QualificationsRequirements:
Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, with a valid U.S. passport.
Strong working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
Current First Class Medical Certificate and Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
Minimum flight experience:
2,500 hours total time
500 hours multi-engine
1,000 hours PIC
Proven impeccable safety record
Single-pilot, mountain terrain experience preferred but not required.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Must live within one hour of Durango, CO (DRO) or be willing to relocate.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
