Overview
We are seeking a experienced and highly skilled Director of Maintenance to lead our small Part 91 Flight Department in Central Nebraska. Currently have airplanes based in Kearney-Grand Island-Broken Bow. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the tracking and scheduling of routine maintenance to ensure airworthiness of each airplane. Supervise and possible assist in conducting routine inspections at service centers. Manage and correct incoming non scheduled squawks. Coordinate with Chief Pilot on scheduled down time for each aircraft. Develop procedures and systems for continued growth of department. Must be self motivated and hard working. Current fleet consist of A36 Bonanza, C340, King Air C90, TBM 960, King Air 300, CJ3, Lear 40XR, G280.
Responsibilities
- Track routine maintenance on aircraft to ensure continued airworthiness.
- Develop, implement, and oversee system for reporting and correcting of unscheduled squawks.
- Utilize CAMP and other tracking software.
- Help Chief Pilot Coordinate Repair Facility repairs and relationships.
- Set up and manage Maintenance Manual Subscriptions
- Ensure physical logbooks are in order kept up to date.
- Complete minor in house maintenance items as needed.
- Assist (team effort) in keeping aircraft clean and deice (where needed) in good shape.
- Develop new systems and procedures for growing flight department.
Requirements:
- Self motivated
- Good communication between Chief Pilot and Line Pilots
- IA Authority-Or able to obtain
- Experience with King Airs, Learjets, G280, Twin Cessnas a big plus. Willing to train the right person, but must has multiple years of experience working on turbine aircraft.
- Previous experience with CAMP a big plus.
Pay: $84,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
