About Bravo 6 Flight Academy
Bravo 6 Flight Academy trains pilots at Rexburg Municipal Airport, from a first discovery flight through commercial certificates. We also run Rexburg Air Service, the maintenance shop and fuel operation on the field. We are a small, busy team — instructors, mechanics, and the people who keep the schedule moving — and we are growing, with an FAA Part 141 certification and a university degree partnership in the works.
If you like talking to people, keeping a calendar honest, and being around airplanes all day, this is a good seat.
What you'll do
Front desk and customer service
- Be the first voice and first face people meet — phone, email, text, and walk-ins
- Answer questions from prospective students about training, pricing, and getting started
- Check students in and out, collect payments, and keep the lobby squared away
- Greet transient pilots and passengers using the airport
Dispatch and scheduling
- Build and maintain the daily flight schedule in Flight Schedule Pro — aircraft, instructors, and simulator
- Dispatch aircraft: confirm the airplane is available and airworthy, hand off keys and paperwork, log the flight out and back in
- Rework the schedule when weather, maintenance, or a no-show disrupts the day, and call everyone affected
- Flag maintenance squawks to the shop and keep grounded aircraft off the schedule
Student records and follow-up
- Keep student files, training records, and required documents complete and current — this matters a great deal under Part 141
- Work new leads in our CRM: return calls, send follow-up emails and texts, and book discovery flights
- Chase down missing paperwork, expired medicals, and unsigned agreements before they stop a flight
General
- Light office work: filing, supplies, keeping the place presentable
- Pitch in where a small team needs it
What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable on the phone and good with people, including people who are nervous, running late, or unhappy about the weather
- Organized enough to juggle a schedule that changes several times a day without dropping anyone
- Solid computer skills: email, web-based scheduling software, and basic spreadsheets. We will train you on our systems
- Careful with details and with paperwork — a missing signature or an expired document can ground a flight
- Able to work independently during quiet stretches and keep your head when three people need something at once
- Dependable attendance. Students book weeks out and we have to be here
- Able to pass a background check and work legally in the United States
Nice to have (not required)
You do not need an aviation background. We will teach you the airplane side. These are a bonus:
- An interest in aviation, or a student pilot certificate — current students and aviation enthusiasts are encouraged to apply
- Previous front desk, dispatch, FBO, or customer service experience
- Experience with scheduling software or a CRM
- Familiarity with aviation terminology, or a willingness to learn it quickly
- Sales or lead follow-up experience
