Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Avionics Technician to join our aerospace maintenance team. This role involves performing complex electrical and mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, inspections, and installations on aircraft and related systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in avionics, aircraft maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and CAD drawings.
- Perform detailed inspections of aircraft electrical systems, airframes, and components in accordance with FAA regulations.
- Conduct assembly and disassembly of aircraft components with attention to safety and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Perform equipment repair and calibration to support ongoing aircraft maintenance operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in avionics repair or aircraft maintenance; military or civilian aviation background preferred.
- Strong electrical experience combined with mechanical knowledge of airframes and vehicle maintenance systems.
- Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) related to aircraft maintenance and avionics systems.
- Experience with equipment repair involving power tools, hand tools, welding, soldering, sheet metal fabrication.
- Knowledge of CMMS platforms for maintenance tracking and documentation.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills including root cause analysis for system failures.

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
