Highrize Aviation is a part 135 charter company based in the Midwest and on the West Coast. We are currently hiring a full time King Air 200 captain based at John Wayne/Orange County Airport (KSNA).
Position Summary:
The Pilot will be responsible for safely operating a King Air 200 in various flight operations, including charter services, small cargo, and medical transport. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance with regulatory standards while delivering exceptional service to our passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct safe and efficient flights in compliance with FAA regulations under Part 135 and 91.
- Execute medical flight operations, including pre-flight preparations and ground handling.
- Perform thorough pre-flight inspections and post-flight procedures to ensure the operational integrity of the aircraft.
- Maintain accurate flight logs and documentation in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with other crew members to ensure smooth flight operations.
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust flight plans as necessary.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs to enhance flying skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2000 flight hours total time.
- Previous experience flying King Air 200 and other turbine aircraft.
- Valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with appropriate ratings.
- Current 1st class FAA medical.
- Strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) relevant to Part 135 and Part 91 operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including long nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with medical flight operations, including knowledge of medical transport protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle in-flight emergencies calmly and effectively.
