We’re looking for a highly motivated Operations Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our aircraft detailing business.
In this role, you’ll serve as the heartbeat of our operation—coordinating services, managing client communication, ensuring quality control, and maintaining operational excellence and compliance. This role requires a flexible schedule. Night and overnight shifts are required at times to align with aircraft arrival/departure windows and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, FBO/MRO partners, and vendors
- Respond to inbound leads, schedule on-site walkarounds, and assess aircraft to build/present quotes
- Manage job scheduling, dispatch, and daily workflow across multiple crews; maintain accurate CRM/job records
- Oversee invoicing, payments, and collections follow-ups
- Address and resolve customer service concerns
- Maintain high safety standards and ensure team compliance
- Conduct inventory checks and manage supply orders
- Oversee towel-cleaning procedures and supply rotation
- Participate in local advertising and brand awareness efforts (e.g., networking events, distributing marketing materials)
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and manage crew members
- Supervise multiple detailing crews (typically 2–4 people per team)
- Ensure compliance with FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program requirements
- Provide weekly reporting on production, quality, client feedback, staffing, and key operational KPIs
- Identify operational risks and improvement opportunities; recommend process changes to increase throughput and quality
- Candidates must be willing and able to work occasional nights and overnights, including weekends when required
What We're Looking For:
- Strong communication and professionalism with high-end clients
- Comfortable making decisions in a fast-changing environment (flight schedules, last-minute updates)
- Organized and accountable—able to run daily operations without constant oversight
- Leadership experience in operations, service-based industries, and team supervision
- Valid driver’s license; able to work on-site at airports/FBOs (and obtain access/badging if required)
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, administrative leadership, or luxury service environment
- Aviation, automotive, hospitality, or other high-touch service background strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage schedules, and make decisions under pressure
- Strong client communication skills, professionalism, and attention to detail
Training & Support: Comprehensive virtual and in-person training, including hands-on sessions at RealClean’s Chicago headquarters to ensure full mastery of operational and FAA-compliance standards.
Compensation & Benefits
- $70,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience
