The Royal Caribbean Group’s Team Architecture & Design Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Lead Designer reporting to the Senior Manager Architecture & Design
This person will work onsite Monday-Thursday in Miami
Position Summary:
As a Lead Designer at Royal Caribbean International you will work on a variety of projects around the world that will be both challenging and rewarding You will collaborate with reputable multi-disciplinary teams and be involved in the design documentation and construction of our projects
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop prepare and coordinate power point presentations and documentation materials

Have a good understanding of the construction documentation phases and materials delivered Capable of providing digital markups during document review Work collaboratively alongside your team to meet project deadlines and milestones Create presentations showcasing construction milestones to share recommendations with senior management Lead product development process for global regions Private Destinations while working closely with Project Team on concept development programming and the accurate execution of concepts to ensure innovation and authenticity are maximized Works closely with key stakeholders from the various departments across the organization to understand how to adapt and evolve the strategy for delivering a flawless product at our private destinations Ensures that the created product developed is a desirable and viable product for the enjoyment of RCG’s future guests to our private destinations Performs other duties as required This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position Employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management
- International Travel (Primarily focused in Caribbean)
Qualifications Knowledge and Skills:
- Professional accredited degree in Architecture
- 3- 5 years’ continuous professional working experience
- Excellent design skills Proven technical experience using AutoCAD Revit Bluebeam
- MS Office required Understanding of Autodesk or of a similar platform
