TIC Aerospace, Inc. is a growing aerospace maintenance and repair organization specializing in aircraft wheels and airframe components. We are currently seeking an Aircraft Mechanic Helper to join our team.
This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals looking to start a career in aviation. Candidates with experience in other types of mechanical work (automotive, industrial, marine, etc.) are encouraged to apply. No prior aviation experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist experienced technicians with daily shop operations
- Clean, prep, and handle aircraft parts
- Organize tools, equipment, and work areas
- Support basic disassembly and reassembly tasks
- Follow all company safety, quality, and compliance procedures
- Assist senior aircraft mechanics with routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of aircraft components and systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols related to heavy lifting, equipment handling, and hazardous materials.
- Participate in training sessions on aviation standards including the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) related to aircraft airframe, avionics, power systems, and general maintenance procedures.
