Touch & Go FBO is located in Bullhead City, Arizona, at The Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport. Highly motivated, fast pace organization, that offers a full service, 24/7 Fixed Based Operations (FBO) . We are a multi-faceted aviation services provider, offering high quality services for a all aircraft. As part of NPIAS (National Plan of Integrated Services) we follow guidelines and plans developed by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) to assist General Aviation (GA) for public use, and support Part 121/135 air carrier operations.
POSITION SCOPE
The Line Service Technician provides ground service for aircraft of any size, day-to-day housekeeping of the airport grounds and our facilities. This is an entry level position where you will learn how to service, marshal and fuel aircraft. Routine administrative duties will also be performed. On occasion this position will also assist our airline ground handling services (GHS) crew for commercial airline operations.
Overnight: 10:00pm - 6:00am (shift differential) 5 days per week.
During training, you will be required to work day or mid-day shifts, until fully qualified and certified for overnight operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer service on the ramp, and support our CSR’s (Customer Service Reps.)
- Assisting customer needs: Making reservations at hotels, rental cars, provide area guidance and recommendations.
- Address and resolve customer concerns that may arise.
- Marshaling the aircraft to the parking area / re-position aircraft as needed.
- Aircraft refueling & Run invoices/data entry.
- Receive bulk aviation fuel loads, document with proper paperwork.
- Servicing the water systems, lavatory system & ground power units.
- Perform the day-to-day housekeeping and grounds keeping for a wide range of airport facilities.
- Training in aviation Quality Control/Assurance program.
- Working safely with various types of equipment and aircraft.
- Fuel tank and fuel truck inspections, with proper documentation.
- FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention and removal program.
- Periodic equipment/vehicle washing & deep cleaning of FBO facilities.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES/ASSETS
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver’s License (in state of residence)
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass FAA and Homeland Security background checks, and drug screening
- Reliable/on-time, show up for work
- Detail oriented, attention to detail, focused, situational awareness
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient English in both verbal and written communication skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate in a highly respectful, courteous manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs.
- Ability to perform medium-to heavy lifting, moderate walking. Frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to ascend/descend a ladder
- Willing to work a flexible schedule as we are a 24/7/365 operation
- Willing and able to work overtime, days, nights, weekends, and be on call
- Ability to safely perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in all weather conditions, and during nighttime hours, while working in proximity to various types of aircraft and equipment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to work as a team, and ability to work independently
- Cross-train with GHS crew on Commercial Ramp
- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
- Previous aviation experience helpful but not necessary
- Microsoft Office experience preferred, not essential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.40 - $18.00 per hour
