Wanted: Superior Customer Service Representative_
We are looking for a person that genuinely loves taking care of people, and being part of a team. You will help us deliver exceptional service and hospitality to our customers at the Gulf Shores International Airport in Gulf Shores, Alabama. This is a fast paced, interesting, and fun environment.
Our customers are private, corporate, and military passengers and aircraft crews. We are a full-service Fixed-Based Operator that provides fuel services to private, corporate and military aircraft. Additionally, we coordinate aircraft storage, catering, ground transportation, hotel reservations, and other services required by passengers and flight crews. Every day we define and deliver “Southern Hospitality” with our smiles, caring, helpfulness, and genuine can-do attitudes.
Practical Requirements:
- Experience in a customer service position. Prior experience at an FBO or aviation related industry is preferred.
- Excellent Customer Service, Organizational, and Communication Skills
- Desire to be part of a team
- Professional in appearance and mannerisms
- Initiative and Detail Oriented
- Ability to develop a friendly rapport and a sincere desire to assist customers
- Computer and keyboard skills to include the ability to work with Word and Excel
- Ability to accurately calculate amounts and figures to include numerical conversions
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
Other Requirements
- Pass a drug screening test
- Background check
- Clean driving record & valid DL
- High School Diploma or GED
Job Duties Include, but are not limited to:
Answering a multi-line telephone, scheduling, interpreting written and verbal instructions, processing sales transactions, communicating with line service professionals, and utilizing 2-way radios to communicate with customers and staff. Making hotel, limousine, and car rental reservations. Taking, placing, and delivering food catering orders. Driving passenger vehicles and ground service equipment, marshalling aircraft, 2-way radio communications, participating in safety and fire training, concession restocking, calculating & balancing totals, facility cleaning and other required or assigned duties.
We are a professional organization that has fun delivering first class services and products to our clients.
We operate 7 days a week and normal hours of operation are 6AM – 9PM.
Starting wage is dependent on experience. This position generally offers 36 – 44 hours weekly, however there are limited positions available for students or others with the “right stuff” desiring fewer hours.
For full time employee’s, health, dental, and vision insurance is offered along with tuition reimbursement.
