We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Terminal Support Manager to oversee operations at our transportation terminals. This role involves helping with daily operations necessary to ensure employee and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Corporate position providing effective local support to the bus terminal team (Drivers, Monitors, Dispatchers, Mechanics, and Managers)
- Maintaining a strong safety culture
- Help with the daily operations (driver, routing, administrative, and vehicle activities) necessary to ensure employee and customer satisfaction
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable Company policies/procedures and local, state, and federal regulations
- Resolving a variety of issues and making recommendations
- Ensuring continuous improvement in the areas of safety, operations, finance, etc.
Preferred Experience
- 5 or more years of operations and management experience in the transportation industry (Required)
- Strong results-oriented leadership skills with proven success in management
- Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and employee relations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and transportation related software
- Ability to build trust and have strong verbal and written communication with all levels, both inside and outside the organization
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical and organizational skills
- Well-developed time-management skills
- Ability to be adaptable and work independently with a high degree of integrity
- Possess CDL with passenger and school bus endorsement
- Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
