Position Overview:
You are responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the aircraft in accordance with Basra Airlines’ procedures, ICAA regulations, and ICAO standards, and for upholding the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and operational discipline at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements:
You must, at all times during the term of this Agreement:
- Meet all current requirements of the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority (ICAA) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to operate the Aircraft in international and domestic air transport operations.
- Meet all licensing and medical examination requirements as specified by the ICAA to operate the Aircraft, including holding a valid CRJ1000 aircraft type rating and the appropriate licence, with experience and flight hours to the satisfaction of both Basra Airlines and the ICAA.
- Meet the standards required by Basra Airlines for all simulator training, proficiency checks, and evaluations, including LPC/OPC training and checks, as required by the Airline.
- Prior to commencing the Services, have a minimum of three (3) years of airline experience, a minimum of 5,000 total flight hours, and at least 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on any CL65 aircraft type, and hold a valid ICAO ATPL with a CL65 command type rating, together with a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- In the event that the CRJ1000 fleet is withdrawn from operation or otherwise ceases to exist within Basra Airlines’ fleet, Basra Airlines shall assign you to another aircraft type within its fleet. Basra Airlines shall arrange for and fully cover all costs and expenses related to the new aircraft type rating, including but not limited to training, accommodation, and transportation.
