FAA 145 Repair Station A&P Mechanic based in the Ft Worth area
Some Travel Required
Hand Tools Required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities included, but not limited to:
Inspect, repair, and overhaul aircraft components and systems as assigned in compliance with specifications and FAA regulations.
Troubleshoot system and component malfunctions and perform necessary maintenance work or re-work using various tools and diagnostic devices.
Remove and replace defective components
Sheet metal inspection and repairs
Composite/paint inspection and repairs
Maintain all pertinent documentation
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
Airframe & Powerplant (A&P Certificate), preferred
Minimum experience of two (2) years in aircraft maintenance or component work preferred
Working knowledge of Federal Air Regulations (FAR’s)
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Willing and able to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays and weekends
Possess the legal right to work in the United States
Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Extensive knowledge of aircraft accessories, components and other hardware.
Basic Math and Measurement Skills
Mechanical Experience, Preferred; own hand tools helpful
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis
