Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Flight Coordinator Supervisor to lead our flight operations team. This role is responsible for the coordination and preparation of flight requirements in accordance with the airline specifications and LSG standards. This includes supervising and directing the loading of food and equipment, briefing the crew on board the aircraft, and directing staff and vehicles on the ramp to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Duties
(some duties are as follows)
- Obtain a copy of the Daily Log Sheet to verify that all information has been updated as changes occur.
- Verify carts are correctly labeled and marked before loading.
- Check the packing of carts / carriers to ensure the meals and equipment are packed in accordance with the airline specifications.
- Communicate with the Duty Officers regarding additional and special meal request, direct timely preparation and completion of assembly.
- Prior to kitchen departure, verify final checklist from Duty Officer making sure the figures match the final meal order indicated on the Daily Log Sheet
- Record any irregularities that may occur in writing and provide report to the Transportation Manager.
- Carry out other related tasks as directed.
Qualifications
- Must be proficient in the use of English language (written and oral).
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must have good organizational skills.
- Must be able to make independent, well thought out decisions.
- Must be dependable and flexible.
- Must have good customer / human relations skills.
- Prior airline experience preferred.
- Must have good mathematical skills
