We are seeking a skilled and motivated A&P Mechanic with Inspection Authorization (IA) to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to ensuring aircraft airworthiness, safety, and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on piston aircraft.
- Conduct annual / 100-hour inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair airframe, powerplant, and system discrepancies.
- Ensure all maintenance documentation, logbooks, and FAA forms are completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with pilots, owners, and other mechanics to provide clear communication on aircraft status and maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
- Current Inspection Authorization (IA) required.
- Minimum of 3 years of general aviation maintenance experience.
- Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations, maintenance manuals, and inspection procedures.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple aircraft projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and able to pass background and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, or Cirrus aircraft.
- Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems.
- Avionics troubleshooting experience a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
