Second in Command (SIC)
Exec 1 Aviation is seeking a professional, safety-focused Second in Command (SIC) for our Beechjet 400XP. The SIC will support the Pilot in Command (PIC) in all aspects of flight operations while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.
Qualifications & Requirements
500TT Min required
- Must hold, or be able to obtain, a BE400 SIC Type Rating
- Valid First or Second Class FAA Medical Certificate
- English language proficiency
- Ability to pass all required background checks, including PRIA
- Proficient in computer and iPad-based applications (ForeFlight, APG, etc.)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be adaptable and able to respond to the dynamic nature of Part 135 charter operations
- Must be willing to travel and remain away from home for seven or more consecutive days when required
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the PIC in the safe and efficient conduct of flight operations
- Develop flight plans for review and approval by the PIC
- Perform assigned duties during preflight preparation, flight operations, and post-flight activities
- Maintain thorough knowledge of:
- Exec 1 Aviation’s General Operations Manual (GOM)
- FAA regulations
- Exec 1 Aviation’s Operations Specifications
- Aircraft flight manuals and required training applicable to assigned duties
- Report directly to the Chief Pilot of Exec 1 Aviation
- Provide a professional and positive customer experience on every trip
