Overview
Centerline Aviation Solutions is seeking a motivated and reliable Certified Flight Instructor (CFI/CFII) to provide flight training at Harrison County Airport (KASL) in Marshall, TX.
Instructors will work with a wide range of students, from brand new private pilot applicants to instrument, commercial, and multi-engine students—including hobbyists and retired individuals learning later in life.
We keep things simple. Our training program is structured with a clear syllabus and defined progression for each student. Your job is to show up, follow the training plan, and deliver safe, consistent instruction.

Responsibilities
- Show up to scheduled training blocks on time, prepared, professional, and ready to train
- Maintain a clean, sharp appearance and a positive, motivated attitude with students
- Conduct approximately 0.5 hours of ground instruction with each lesson (paid), covering applicable topics and briefing/debriefing flights
- Provide safe, effective, and consistent flight instruction in accordance with FAA standards and company syllabus
- Follow the established training program and ensure students are progressing through required milestones
- Accurately log training, track student progress, and complete required documentation
- Provide appropriate endorsements when students are ready and meet standards
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and student success at all times
Requirements
- Must hold a current FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate
- CFII preferred, but not required (opportunity to obtain CFII provided if needed)
- Must hold a valid FAA medical certificate and meet all legal requirements to instruct under Part 61
- Must maintain current CFI insurance (non-owned/renter’s policy)
- Must demonstrate strong safety awareness and sound aeronautical decision-making
- Piper aircraft experience preferred
- Applicants without Piper experience will be required to complete approximately 10 hours of transition training in company aircraft prior to instructing
- Must be reliable, professional, and able to communicate effectively with students of all experience levels
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
