Position Overview:
Karst Stage is looking for a Main Dispatch to plan the critical movements at Skyline and Streamline. This includes assigning drivers and bus rotations. Supervise, direct, and monitor all scheduled services and charters.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispatch Planning- Manage and coordinate driver schedules for service routes, charter, and tour bid assignments according to schedule.
- Manage, certify, and publish driver and vehicles plans.

- Maintain / optimize bus rotation standards.
- Maintain/ optimize driver rotation standards.
- Monitor/ plan for weather events (weather, construction, community)
- Support schedule committee with recommendations and reports.
- Investigate 3rd party complaints
- Manage charter scheduling and itineraries.
- Participate in periodic schedule meetings to determine run adjustments, new routes, and pricing.
- Prepare accurate and timely invoices for contract customers inclusive of all billing units (parts, runs, supplies, etc).
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
- Two-year vocational or associate degree in business or related field plus 2 years of relevant transportation experience (at least one of which must involve supervision) or high school diploma or equivalent and four years of related experience in transportation operations or dispatch with a minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
- CDL with passenger endorsement and no air brake restrictions required or be open to getting a CDL in 6 to 9 months
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as federal and state regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, & procedure manuals.
- Knowledge of DOT, federal and state regulations.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Excellent customer service, communications, organizational, time management and leadership skills.
- Ability to work with limited supervision and direction.
- Ability and commitment to handle confidential information in a manner that minimizes gossip and rumors
- Ability to respond to emergencies and crisis situations.
- Commitment to work as a team member for the benefit of the company.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
