Job Summary
We’re looking for a skilled upholstery technician with strong patterning and sewing ability to join our aircraft interior team. This is precision work — tight tolerances, high-end materials, and zero room for shortcuts.
If you’ve worked in aviation interiors, automotive upholstery, marine, or high-end furniture, this will translate well.
Responsibilites
- Pattern, cut, and sew aircraft interior components (seats, panels, sidewalls, etc.)
- Interpret templates, drawings, and existing covers
- Work with leather, vinyl, foam, and specialty materials
- Maintain tight quality standards and clean finishes
- Collaborate with technicians and installers on final fitment
- Meet production deadlines without sacrificing craftsmanship
Requirements
- 3+ years upholstery experience (patterning + sewing required)
- Ability to build patterns from scratch (not just sew pre-cuts)
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Experience with industrial sewing machines
- Ability to read templates or work from existing components
Preferred (Not Required)
- Aircraft interior experience
- Automotive or marine upholstery background
- Experience with FAA-regulated materials/processes
What We Offer
- Competitive pay based on skill level
- Steady, high-end work (not commodity production)
- Opportunity to grow into lead or specialist roles
- Clean, professional shop environment
How To Apply
- Brief work history
- Photos of past upholstery work (strongly preferred)
Note
We’re hiring for skill, not titles. If you can pattern and produce clean, tight work — we want to talk.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Benefits:
- Dental insurance
- Health insurance
- Paid time off
Work Location: In person
