Commercial Airline Fueler Responsibilities: The Commercial Airline Fueler is a self-starter responsible for the safe refueling of commercial aircraft and ensuring the quality of fuel in the Fuel Farm.
- Complete training for fire safety and other regulated requirements concerning fuel handling.
- Maintain fuel capacities.
- Expedite filling of fuel trucks.
- Adherence to strict corporate and airline safety standards.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Skills / Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical
- Reside in Maine and be able to commute to Portland
- Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written in the English Language
- Possess a valid and current driver’s license
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Ability to take direction
- Problem-solving skills
- Able and willing to work outdoors in various temperatures/inclement weather conditions
- Meet lifting requirements up to 75lbs
- Physical activity requires walking, climbing, bending, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, stooping
