JOB SUMMARY
AerCap Materials has an immediate opening for a Technical Asset Manager. This role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of aircraft and engine configuration data, with a strong focus on supporting on-site and off-site part-out activities, technical research, part compliance evaluation, and component-level documentation. This role ensures part specific data is accurate and consistently represented in our ERP system in support of commercial, operational, and repair activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Create and maintain aircraft and engine models using IPC and other OEM specific data
· Maintain item specific data in ERP (i.e. ATA, life limit data, alternates, sub-assembly identification, MTBR, CAGE codes, etc.)
· Support inventory optimization through technical research on build-up specs for nacelles, landing gear, thrust reversers, and other line replaceable units as necessary
· Provide support for on-site and offsite teardowns relating to component configuration, AMM interpretation and application as necessary
· Determine and provide harvest list to off-site part-out suppliers based on current inventory levels and asset specific forecasts. Track part removals throughout the dismantle process, and update ERP with component removal data.
· Coordinate priority removals with the supplier to facilitate critical requirements submitted by the Commercial team. Coordinate shipment of certain items for repair directly from part-out supplier.
· Reconcile actual removals with planned removals. Coordinate internally and with the supplier to ensure all components have been removed or price is negotiated as needed.
· Manage part-out contracts to ensure suppliers meet all requirements prior to payment authorization.
· Produce and publish master weekly update status report for all offsite dismantlements and removal status for each aircraft.
· Support freight selection and movement from offsite facilities including coordinating customs process with internal ITC team.
· Additional projects as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Educational/Experience
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge & experience
· Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of time both domestic and international.
· Experience negotiating aviation related supplier terms and conditions.
· Experience summarizing supplier options and providing recommendations to management.
· Technical knowledge of aviation components and published documentation including IPC, AMM, CMM, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives

· Experience with and understanding of the aviation industry and technical aspects of aircraft.
· Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills working across multiple levels, functions and geographic regions.
· Clear thinker with analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills; proven success setting priorities and driving projects to conclusion.
· Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and needs of the business while delivering results.
· Ability to function mostly independently and effectively; self-motivated.
· Intermediate level Microsoft Excel proficiency
