Lake Superior Helicopters (LSH) is seeking a motivated A&P Mechanic who values a strong work-life balance and minimal travel. Position Overview
As an A&P Mechanic at LSH, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of our mixed fleet. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team in a professional environment that prioritizes safety, accountability, and high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate – required
- Helicopter maintenance experience – preferred
- Experience with Robinson and/or Bell aircraft – preferred
- Robinson Factory Maintenance Course – preferred
- Bell Factory Maintenance Course – preferred
- Experience with fixed-wing aircraft (Cirrus, Seminole, Citabria) – preferred
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Robinson experience and safety course required for maximum starting pay
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain airworthiness of company aircraft, including inspection, repair, overhaul, and assembly of aircraft components
- Perform routine maintenance and return aircraft to service
- Complete all maintenance documentation in compliance with FAA, manufacturer, and company requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including tools and equipment
- Collaborate with inspection personnel and fellow A&P mechanics
- Participate in quality assurance processes
- Actively support and promote the company’s Safety Management System (SMS)
