ATP Academy is seeking experienced and motivated instructors to join our team in delivering high-quality FAA-approved ATP-CTP training under Parts 141 and 142. We are currently hiring for the following positions:
- Airbus A320 Simulator Instructors – Orlando Location
- Airbus A320 Simulator Instructors – Fort Lauderdale / Miami Locations
Our programs serve pilots preparing for their ATP certificates, and we take pride in offering modern, effective, and engaging instruction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct simulator sessions in the Airbus A320 FFS & FTD in accordance with the FAA-approved ATP CTP syllabus.
- Deliver professional-grade instruction and evaluate pilot performance to ATP standards.
- Maintain a high level of instructional technique, CRM emphasis, and adherence to Part 142 program requirements.
Requirements
- Active Certified Flight Instructor certificate (CFI) with Instrument (CFII) and Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) ratings.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Part 121 operations, or minimum of 2 years as a Captain in Part 135 operations.
- Airbus A320 type rating required.
- Strong communication and instructional skills.
- Scheduling flexibility is required. This role is designed for active airline or charter pilots looking to supplement their income during off days, as well as retired or otherwise grounded pilots seeking to remain active in aviation instruction. We work around your primary flying schedule.
- Timeliness and strict adherence to scheduling are paramount. Our students pay a premium for this instruction and expect a professional, punctual instructor every session.
Compensation: $90.00 - $120.00 per hour
