Job Overview
Veterans Alliance is hiring experienced A&P Mechanics to support heavy maintenance and modification operations in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This is a 12-month contract opportunity offering competitive pay and weekly per diem.
This role is ideal for mechanics with commercial MRO experience or hands-on experience with CRJ or Challenger aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial aircraft
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in an MRO environment
- Troubleshoot mechanical discrepancies and perform corrective actions
- Remove, repair, and replace aircraft components and systems
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation
- Ensure all work meets FAA, safety, and quality standards
- Accurately document maintenance actions
Qualifications
- Active A&P License – REQUIRED
- Minimum 3+ years of MRO experience OR2+ years of CRJ or Challenger aircraft experience – REQUIRED
- Experience with heavy maintenance environments – REQUIRED
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Compensation & Details
- Pay: $37.00/hr
- Up to $1,000/week total per diem (must qualify)
- Contract Length: 12 Months
- Platform: Commercial Aircraft (CRJ / Challenger preferred)
