Job Opportunity
Surf or Sound Realty is actively seeking Part Time Seasonal Linen Drivers to work on Hatteras Island. The employee must be able to work Friday’s 8am-8pm, Saturday’s and Sundays 7am-7pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Load and unload linens from trucks, warehouse and vacation rentals.
- Drive a box truck to deliver linen tubs to vacation rentals.
- Display honesty & integrity.
- Employ excellent team building skills.
- Maintain open communication with Linens Manager.
- Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Report immediately any accident and/or incident which may occur while at work.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be willing to work weekends and summer holidays that fall on schedule work days.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other team members and departments.
- Physical Abilities:
- Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing over 25 pounds continuously.
- Reaching overhead and below with the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping.
- Ability to climb 3-4 flights of stairs multiple times a day in extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, wind, blowing sand snow)
