Twin Otter Airborne Research (TOAR) operates and maintains a fleet of DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft in support of the United States Government throughout the US and overseas. TOAR, a FAA Part 145, is seeking qualified personnel to provide aircraft maintenance as well as fabrication skills in its ongoing and newly added operations. TOAR offers top level compensation including sign-on bonus, relocation allowance, healthcare, paid vacation, 401K and performance bonuses.
Annual Compensation: $100K – $150K
Openings include:
A&P Line Technicians (DHC-6 and PT6 experience a plus)
A&P Engine Shop Technicians (PT6 engine overhauls)
A&P Restoration and Heavy Maintenance Technicians (DHC-6)
Avionics Technicians (DHC-6, Garmin 950/530/430 and Customer Installations)
Fabrication Technicians (Welding, Machine Shop, Customer installations)
Aircraft Interior Technicians (Upholstery, Plastics, Paint)
Aircraft Records (Records, data input and reports)
Job Requirements
· Follow company policies and safety procedures and processes.
· Comply with FAA regulations.
· Travel as required (CONUS and OCONUS).
· Maintain a clean and organized workplace.
· Successfully complete all initial and recurrent training for job level and airframe.
· Capable to routinely lift 75 pounds, climb, bend, kneel, and crawl in confined spaces.
· Strong work ethic and integrity.
· Must be a U.S. citizen and hold a valid driver's license.
· Willing and able to obtain U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
· All employees are subject to Pre-Employment, Post-Accident/Incident, Random, and "With Probable Cause" Drug Screening.
