Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation of guest and goods. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics and transportation management, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and drivers.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize dispatching software and tools to manage the movement of freight and vehicles in real-time.
- Coordinate with chauffeurs, managing staff, and customers to ensure timely and efficient and elevated transportation experience.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of transportation plans, routes, and schedules.
- Utilize GPS tracking systems to monitor the location and status of vehicles.
- Identify and resolve any issues or delays in transportation, including route changes, flight changes, traffic congestion, and weather-related disruptions.
- Work closely with the fleet management team to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Maintain knowledge of transportation planning and logistics best practices.
- Manage 3PL services and coordinate with external providers to ensure seamless delivery of goods.
- Use Oracle Transportation Management software to optimize transportation routes and schedules.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in transportation operations.
- Develop and maintain a high level of expertise in transportation management and logistics.
Skills:
- Proven experience in dispatching and transportation management.
- Strong understanding of logistics and transportation planning.
- Proficiency in dispatching software and tools.
- Knowledge of freight and transportation regulations.
- Experience with GPS tracking systems.
- Ability to manage a fleet of vehicles and coordinate with drivers.
- Experience with Oracle Transportation Management software.
- Familiarity with 3PL services and logistics best practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
