Summary Overview:
The Training Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all training activities at the station, including classroom instruction, on-the-job training, and recurrent training. This role ensures all new hires are properly trained and that training records are accurately maintained and compliant with airline standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilites:
- Conduct classroom and on-the-job training for all new hires
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training files, records, and certifications
- Ensure timely completion of all recurrent and refresher training for existing employees
- Keep in communication with airlines in reference to new training standards and compliance with current specifications
- Develop training schedules and coordinate logistics for training sessions
- Generate and submit training reports as requested by Station Management
- Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at job location
- Support a culture of compliance, safety, and professional development
- Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in training, operations, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping
- Intermediate/Highly proficient Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Working knowledge of safety and compliance requirements (OSHA, DOT, FAA)
- Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
- Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
