Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Aviation Parts & Warranty Manager to lead our parts procurement, inventory control, and warranty processes within the aviation industry. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the sourcing of parts, manage supplier relationships, and ensure seamless coordination between technicians and the parts department. Your expertise will drive efficiency in supply management, optimize inventory levels, and uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance. Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities for aviation parts including engines and assemblies, as requested from technicians ensuring timely sourcing from supplier.
- Oversee inventory order management systems to maintain optimal stock levels, and oversee the pricing of standard parts.
- Monitor and track the status of returned component cores.
- Lead warranty claims processing; by filing, tracking, and ensuring accurate documentation is submitted.
- Receive and inspect parts ordered from vendors, including all shipping and receiving duties.
- Maintain strong supplier management relationships to ensure quality standards are met, pricing is competitive, and delivery timelines are adhered to.
- Coding and filing of packing slips and invoices
- Utilize data entry skills for accurate record-keeping related to procurement, warranty claims, inventory levels, and shipping documentation.
- Conduct annual inventory audit.
Skills
- Familiarity with inventory management techniques including demand planning and inventory control practices.
- Excellent data entry skills combined with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
- Customer service orientation with a focus on resolving parts availability issues efficiently.
- Experience in logistics, shipping & receiving procedures, procurement management, and sourcing strategies.
- Pay will depend on experience and skills
Requirements
- Must have Airframe and Powerplant license
- Must be 18 or older with High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Will be required to pass a DOT required drug, alcohol, and background check prior to employment and randomly after employment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to lift and carry objects up to 45 pounds.
