- Selecting safe and efficient flight plan, considering aircraft performance, altitude and weather conditions.
- Performing pre- and post-flight aircraft inspections
- Communicate with air traffic control to ensure safe takeoff and landing
- Ensure passengers follow safety rules while being onboard
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of the passengers, crew, and aircraft
- Keeping accurate records for compliance purposes
- Creating reports about any incident
