Job Summary
BAS Part Sales is one of the leading aircraft salvage companies in the world. Our aviation parts research teams take parts from a wide range of sources and run them through a process that allows us to sell them through our industry-leading e-commerce store to customers around the world.
The primary responsibility of this role is to assist the Research Team by preparing aviation parts. The ideal candidate will clean items effectively, evaluate their condition, identify defects, quickly navigate parts catalogs to locate part numbers and precise descriptions, and correctly label items for the Research Team. Additionally, the Research Assistant will work with the Mechanic and Sales Teams to provide support as needed, undertake special projects, and engage in various tasks. Each day will present new challenges and opportunities to learn valuable skills.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning parts
- Inspecting parts for damage
- Identifying and tagging parts
- Using IPC to properly identify parts
- Working in an organized manner
- Moving parts between warehouses
- Cleaning the warehouse
- Other tasks as needed
This position is on-site at BAS Kansas City, located at Harry S Truman Airport in Bates City, MO.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
