We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized person to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Control & Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our Inventory Management System (IMS) / ERP software.
- Receive, inspect, tag, and properly store incoming parts and materials.
- Identify, track, and manage obsolete, expired, or slow-moving inventory.
2. Job Costing & Financial Tracking
- Allocate parts and materials to specific jobs.
- Collaborate with managers and technicians to ensure all parts used on a job are properly logged.
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and packing slips before submitting them to accounts payable.
3. Purchasing & Supplier Relations
- Source parts and materials from approved vendors, balancing quality, speed, and cost.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track shipments to ensure timely delivery, proactively resolving any delays.
- Maintain and build relationships with suppliers.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control, purchasing, or parts management.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with inventory management software, ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP), and Microsoft Excel.
- Financial Literacy: Strong understanding of how inventory affects job costing and profit margins.
- Organization: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple moving parts (literally and figuratively) in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and safely operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
