C&L Aviation Services, part of the globally recognized C&L Aviation Group, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Bangor, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys a variety of responsibilities, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants to grow their career within a dynamic and expanding aviation organization.

In this role, you'll contribute to the financial operations of multiple business entities, assisting with financial reporting, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting functions that support our worldwide aviation business.

Job Responsibilities

The role will have a major focus on assisting with the preparation of monthly financial statements for various entities
The role will also cover other aspects of bookkeeping including:
Accounts payable
Accounts receivable
Bank reconciliation
GL reconciliations
The ability and willingness to undertake a variety of accounting tasks is essential, as is the ability to work autonomously

Job Requirements

Have a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and accounting software
Accounting Degree
Accounting software packages used include but not limited to: QuickBooks and Quantum (training to be provided using these programs)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
