ABOUT IGNITE AERO ENGINES LLC
Ignite Aero Engines LLC is a premier FAA- and EASA-certified Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) facility in Davie, Florida. We are committed to delivering world-class aero engine services with an unwavering focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Specializing in the CFM56 engine series, we serve global commercial operators from our modern South Florida facility. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a driven and experienced Production Manager to lead our shop operations and uphold the standards that define us.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Production Manager is responsible to the Accountable Manager for the overall operation of the assigned shop. - Supervise completion of paperwork at each shift change and ensure all work is properly documented, accounted for, and available for the next shift.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment in all active work areas.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of personnel engaged in maintenance and repair of aircraft, engines, components, and related equipment in accordance with FAA regulations and Company procedures.
- Develop and maintain employee work schedules to ensure adequate staffing for workload demands.
- Provide adequate training of personnel in proper work procedures and practices.
- Maintain shop equipment and tools in serviceable condition, including ensuring required inspections, calibrations, and records are current.
- Ensure all required maintenance and documentation are properly completed by responsible personnel.
- Ensure proper handling and control of all components within the shop.
- Initiate requisitions for materials and manage shop stock, including shelf-life control.
- Maintain the status of facility projects, prioritize work, and ensure timely and proper completion.
- Ensure compliance with safety practices, including familiarity with MSDS, emergency equipment, and facility safety procedures.
- Ensure familiarity with applicable regulations, including 14 CFR Parts 43, 65, and 145, and all relevant manuals (RS/QCM, TPM, FM).
- Ensure personnel are properly trained, qualified, and experienced to perform work authorized by the repair station certificate and operations specifications.
- Address discrepancies and audit findings on time.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in an MRO or aviation maintenance environment.
- Part 65 certification (mechanic or repairman) appropriate to the work being supervised.
