General Summary:
10 Tanker Air Carrier is an aerial firefighting company that operates DCl0 aircraft modified to disperse fire retardant to control forest fires. The company operates and maintains its aircraft under 14 CFR parts 91, 137, and 145.
The Supply Chain Technician is responsible for receiving, issuing, inventorying, and stocking incoming parts, supplies, and materials for aircraft modification and maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
- Inventory quality checks
- Monitors the placement of items in the stockroom to ensure proper storing for safety, maximum spaceutilization, ease of access, and identification
- Maintains a system of QR-coded parts, supplies, and encodes inventory information for updating theinventory and management information system database to ensure accurate parts and suppliesinformation
- Checks inventory stock bins for part number match, quantity, and cleanliness.
- Reconciliation between incoming purchases and POs
- Completes preliminary inspection of incoming materials/parts
- Maintains a clean and safe supply production area
- Assumes responsibility for safe and clean operations
Requirement. Experience & Education
- Pass a 7-year background
- Must possess a current and valid driver's license
- Must have a clean driving record
- Safety oriented
- Time management proficiency
- Must be able to pass a background check with TSA and the Department of Homeland Security, FBl's Next Generation Identification, and fingerprinting with US-VISIT Automated Biometrics Identification System
- Physical Requirements
This job operates in a warehouse/aircraft hangar setting, which requires the use of standard safety gear. Theoutdoor settings include parking lots and airport runways.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lifting boxes and parts up to 50 lbs is required.
